A note from Rusty & Erin
The first 8 years of our marriage we lived with deep emotional pain caused by disconnection in our relationship. As much as we loved each other, we were not experiencing one another's love. This led to our marriage being largely defined by disconnection.
We both longed to have a deep emotional connection but didn't know how to get there. We lived in a place where the frustration of disconnection dominated our marriage until we found the practical key that fixed everything.
That key is CONNECTION.
We started Making A Way Marriage Coaching to give married couples a shot at the marriage they hoped for and dreamed of when they said, “I do.”
We've used the key of connection with countless couples and believe it is the solution to relational success.

Our story
Rusty and Erin believe connection is the foundation for any thriving marriage. Being married for over 24 years, they have experienced highs and lows and understand the pain and joys encountered on the marriage journey. They encourage and coach others with the same principles and tools they implement within their own marriage.
As founders of Making a Way Marriage, they coach couples and individuals who are looking to heal painful relational cycles and learn new ways of connecting and relating in their marriage. Their value of learning led Rusty to become a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and Erin a certified biblical counselor. They have two beautiful adult daughters and live in Mandeville, Louisiana.
